MOSTARDA di FRUTTA is a Northern Italian condiment made of candied fruit and a mustard-flavoured syrup. The rich mixture of fruits includes; Figs, Apricots, Peaches, Pears, Apples, Kiwi, Cherries and Quince.

Originally required to preserve out of season fruits, nowadays it is enjoyed with many dishes like Bollito misto (mixed cooked meats). More recently some recipes are prepared with modern twists, much of them are enjoyed with cold cuts and fine cheeses.

Luigi Lazzaris Chutneys and Mostarda di Frutta adds a bang to many dishes. Slightly spicy and sweet at the right point with fruit pieces that tickle the palate.

Lazzaris’ spreadable chutneys have a pleasant texture with sweet and spicy notes that is combined between the sweetness of the fruits and the spicy mustard seeds.
