A very regional product these small little onions only grow in the hot climes of Puglia and not actually cultivated as such, they are dug up when the farmers hoe the fields and gathered as a small crop
Hand trimmed and peeled which takes ages to do they are then blanched and jarred in extra virgin olive oil with the addition of fresh mint.
A nice crunchy texture with sweet onion flavour
